Veteran’s Affairs Ambulatory Care Facility

140kWs of solar assets, consisting of Suniva modules and SMA string inverters installed on the roof of the Veteran’s Affairs facility in downtown Los Angeles. Project challenges included core drilling through seven floors of post-tension deck concrete, a rigid conduit requirement, as well as closing off downtown LA streets to conduct crane lifts.

The VA was a savvy customer, contracting the project on the basis of kilowatt hour production, rather than nameplate capacity. Our engineering partner was TMAD Taylor & Gaines.
